If you have been following Star Wars ever since the original trilogy was released way back then you are an avid Star Wars fan. And whether you like it or not, that duty includes watching the animated show ‘Star Wars: Rebels’ with as much enthusiasm as you did for the films.

Now even though we might be messing with you about the duty part, we assure you the show will not waste your time. The show is an ode to the original trilogy, and that is not the only reason to start binge-watching it today!

All the reasons to binge-watch Star Wars: Rebels today

An ode to everyone’s favorite trilogy

A praiseworthy effort by the creators of Star Wars: Rebels is how they have tried to link this animated show to the original trilogy. And right now we aren’t talking in terms of story, we mean in the feels. From the look of the show to the music of the show, in fact, every element of the show combines together to remind you of the original trilogy (and give you severe nostalgia).

Remember how the OG cast used to be, laughing around on the ship with their impeccable humor? Yep, you get to experience that, once again, in Star Wars: Rebels.

Even the villain of the first eight episodes, the Inquisitor, reminds you of the Empire from the original trilogy. He is just as dark and menacing as we remember and loved the Empire to be.

A glimpse of James Earl Jones

None of us fans can get over the amazing and extraordinary work of James Earl Jones as the voice of Darth Vader in the original Star Wars. What we would not give to see him reprise that role just once more?

Luckily enough, in the very first episode of Star Wars: Rebels, we see a hologram projection of the Darth Vader, voiced by our very favorite James Earl Jones!

Experience the path to becoming a Jedi

Apart from a few scenes in Dagobah in the original Star Wars, we never got to see what the path to becoming a Jedi looks like. However, the good part is we can now get to experience that path in Star Wars: Rebels through the life and journey of Ezra and Kanan.

Sit tight, because you might be able to figure out the secret to becoming a Jedi too!

Get answers to your Clone Wars questions

As a proper Star Wars fan, there is no doubt that you would have loved the Clone Wars. However, the Clone Wars finale – even though hooking – left us wanting for more and desperate to get answers to some burning questions.

Although Star Wars: Rebels is its own show in its entirety with an original idea and screenplay, it can be thought of as a closure to Clone Wars. It can definitely answer all your questions related to what happens to the main characters including Rex, Maul, and Ahsoka amongst all others.

However, if you want to find out these answers, you will have to watch the show yourself! And you have all these reasons to convince you to do so!
